Rules voted on at June meeting:
- No change to costume rules (but we'll amend the information in the handbook to indicate that it's all right to roll sleeves up or down if it's necessary for the character).
- Large group category for Fall is a musical for at least 2 years (rule can be changed in 2 years - going 3 yrs was voted down).
- Keeping graphic design/publicity in Tech; Walt is going to figure out a component for including a video trailer (QuickTime movie) but this would be in addition to the print components. More info in fall.
- Yes to making tech lighting package easier. Students can use any light package they want as long as they can justify it to the judges and it's theoretically feasible.
- Classical for monologues is still pre-1920.
- No change on intro (optional 100 words or 30 seconds max; must include title, playwright, school code). Adding a request from judges: please distinguish between the intro and the play
