About California State Student Board
2009-2010
Hello all, my name is Christina Cala and I am from St. Lucy’s High School, troupe 2527. I have the extreme pleasure of serving as your Newsletter Editor on Student State Board and can’t wait to do so. I am so excited to be working with my fellow board members and hope to create an amazing festival next year. I live and breathe theater, but I am also involved in my school’s newspaper and Nordstrom Brass Plum Fashion Board. I will be a senior this year, class of 2010, and am so excited to be spending my last year of high school in such a valuable way. My main goal is to be a tool in your success, in any way possible, whether it is creating a safe and open environment, networking, or answering questions. Simply know that I will always be here for you, email or facebook, in person or through the net, so that this year will be an outstanding one.
Hello! My name is Leean Gill and I am your new Student State Board Public Relations Officer! I am very excited to be a part of this year's board and I cannot wait to get started! Theater has almost always been a crucial part in my life I enjoy the acting, directing and the production aspects of theater. I am a junior at Rosary High School and a proud member of Tri-School Theatre troupe 4566. Theater has given so much to me that I am so excited to give all I have to both theater and the state board in the coming year.
Hello, my name is Shelby Jaramillo and I am one of your Secretaries and Northern Representative for the California Student State Board. I am the Vice president and proud member of Woodcreek High Schools Thespian Troupe 6055, as well as a member of the ComedySportz team. I look forward to working alongside my fellow California Thespians and State board in order to make this a great year.
Hello everyone! My name is Amanda Pesqueira and I am your 2009-2010 Student State Board Historian. I hail from St. Lucy's Priory High School, Troupe 2527. I am very excited for the upcoming year! I serve as the President of my troupe as well as your Historian, so I plan to be very busy. This year everyone will have tons of fun because of our amazing board and I will be there to capture the moments on film. I hope to preserve the memories throughout the year and be able to pass them on to you to show new Thespians. Through pictures, I hope to inspire more young people to become Thespians and also to showcase the amazing amount of talent we have throughout California Thespians. I wish everyone a wonderful year and "break a leg" with all of your shows!
Hello my name is Adrian Rodriguez and I am from Santa Fe High School Troupe #1209. This will be my Senior year and second year on the SSB. My position on the board is one of the two Southern Representatives. It is my pleasure to be on this beloved board again with now, some expernice and knowledge of whats to come for the up and coming year. One of my goals with this year is to bring new troupes to Thespian Festival and our leaderships. With this i hope to bring that and much more to California State Thespians.
